Sam Sarbit is a graduate of the University of Manitoba and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1969. While attending Law School, he served as Vice-Stick of the Faculty of Law and Debating Chairman of the University of Manitoba. After graduation, Mr. Sarbit studied law at the London School of Economics in London, England where he was also a lecturer in Criminology at Aylesbury College. Upon his return to Winnipeg, Mr. Sarbit began his law career with Swystun, Garson and Associates. In 1972, he joined B. Stuart Parker first as an associate and later as a partner in the firm of Parker, Sarbit and Company. In 2003, Mr. Sarbit joined McJannet Rich where he continues to practice to the present date. His preferred areas of practice are business law, real estate law, Wills and Estates, family law agreements and criminal law. Sam has served as a CNIB board member, a political volunteer and a community centre coach. His involvement with the Philippine community is well known. Sam was also a sessional lecturer in Criminology at the University of Winnipeg and an instructor in Business Law. Ellen K. Fleishman, LL.B.

Steven Brennan is a graduate of the University of Manitoba and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1990.
He originally practiced with Walsh, Micay and Company and later as a partner in the firm of Kravetsky, Hoeppner, Brennan. Mr. Brennan joined McJannet Rich in 1998 and practices in the areas of civil, commercial and criminal litigation, administrative law, employment law, Wills, Estates and Trusts, as well as commercial and residential real estate.
Mr. Brennan has appeared as counsel in all levels of courts in the Province of Manitoba, and in the Province of Saskatchewan, the Province of Ontario, the Federal Court of Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada. Mr. Brennan has additional extensive experience appearing before various administrative boards, tribunals and panels. He has also been counsel in a wide range of regulatory and discipline/governance proceedings involving securities, commodities and a variety of licensed professions.
Steven is a past board member and Provincial Chair of the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada and served as National Treasurer of the charity from 2000 to 2002. He has taught as an Instructor and sessional Lecturer at the Red River Community College in the fields of criminal justice and constitutional law. He recently served as counsel to and a board member of the Manitoba Business Leadership Network Inc. (Manitoba Chamber of Commerce) and is active in a number of charitable, community and political organizations.

Frank Johnson is a graduate of both the University of Winnipeg and the University of Manitoba and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1972.
Mr. Johnson initially practiced as in-house counsel to Manitoba Telephone System (MTS), dealing with corporate and telecommunications law and a wide range of related legal matters. This included real estate transactions, corporate and commercial matters and appearances before the Canadian Radio and Television Commission (CRTC).
In 1976, Mr. Johnson entered private practice as a sole practitioner focusing on corporate, real estate and securities law. Mr. Johnson left practice in 1992 to establish a number of successful business ventures in the areas of real estate development and retirement housing across Canada.
Mr. Johnson joined McJannet Rich in 2008. His practice presently includes civil and criminal litigation, immigration law, securities law, and corporate/commercial law.
Frank served as a member of Winnipeg City Council for 8 years. He has been active in federal politics and has served as a past federal candidate from Winnipeg. He has also been active in numerous community and charitable organizations.
